Alegria leaves the water for a week of TLC. She will re-enter the water next week as Donetes with new sails, markings, sail drive main seal, AIS Man (Woman) Overboard Devices and sparkle like a Lady should.

Sailing Donetes Linda and I will soon be setting off on a voyage of a lifetime, sailing on our 41 foot sailing boat Donetes. We will be heading north along the WA coast, through Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand until Christmas 2017. We will then decide where to next. As our photos below from our 2016 trip to the Abrolhos Islands show, we anticipate many peaceful happy days but also expect a few more challenging ones. We will try to keep this blog updated with our adventures and photos and lessons learned.
